Measuring your wall accurately is crucial for a perfect fit.
Measure the maximum wall height from floor to ceiling (excluding skirting) and also the width of
your walls (in inches). As a safety measure, add 4 inches on both height & width and calculate the new dimensions. Your final wallpaper will be slightly larger to account for any uneven walls or minor measuring errors. Multiply the (width * height) and divide by 144 to get the total Sq. Feet of wallpaper required for the wall. At Dolce Bambino, Square feet is the purchase unit used for custom wallpapers.

Note: Repeat the same for other walls if there are more than one, and add the total to get the total wallpaper material required. Include doors, windows, cabinets or any other obstacles, while

Your wallpaper will arrive on a roll that is sectioned off into vertical drops that fit your wall height. These drops are simply matched up next to each other on the wall to create the full finished wallpaper. Read our Installation Guide for details on your wallpaper and overlaps.

Once your payment is done, you will receive a confirmation by email within 24 to 48 hours. Once your order is confirmed, the estimated time of customising your mural, assessing the samples for colour quality, processing the production, running thorough quality checks and delivering your wallpaper to your doorstep would be 12-15 business days.

Yes, in fact, proper surface preparation is key to the longevity and quality of wallpaper installation. A badly prepped surface can result in patchy walls, joints opening up from time to time and poor adhesion of the wallpaper onto the walls.

Preparation steps include patching any cracks and/or nail holes, washing any greasy or dirty areas, and using a primer/sealer made to be used under wallpaper. It is generally not recommended to wallpaper textured walls. It is preferable to install wallpaper on a smooth, flat and clean surface. If you have textured walls, you can consider skim coating to even out the surface and then sand it to achieve smoothness. Afterward, make sure to thoroughly clean the wall to remove any dust or sand residue. Finally, apply a coat of primer before proceeding with wallpaper installation.

The drying period for wallpaper can range from 24-48 hours, or approximately 2-3 days, depending on room conditions and season of the year. To ensure proper drying, it is advisable to allow the wallpaper to naturally air dry in a well-ventilated room and also consider relocating any furniture to facilitate drying. We recommend installing wallpaper on fresh clean walls 7-10 days after primer application, and also after all carpentry/paint jobs in the rooms are complete. Wallpaper should be one of the last elements to be installed prior to loose furniture and soft furnishings.

Caring for your wallpaper is simple. Use a soft damp cloth moistened with clean water, to gently clean any smudges or domestic dirt. Attend to stubborn stains quickly. For slightly soiled or dusty surfaces you can use a mild, non-abrasive, bleach-free detergent using a moistened, soft cloth or soft sponge. Squeeze it dry and dab (do not rub) followed by a clean damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the print

Please also ensure that the walls in the room are safe from moisture and temperature fluctuations. Temperature fluctuations can cause humidity in the rooms and wetness or dampness on the walls which can cause mould or panel overlaps to open up over time. Some steps to remember is that when you turn off the AC in the room, pls turn on the fan and refrain from opening doors and windows in the room for at least 45mins to an hour. If you must open a bathroom or entry door to move around, ensure you close it instantly during that time period. Once the inside and outside temperatures settle, you can open up the room as usual.

Much like anything else, wallpapers last as long as you care for them. Our wallpapers can be wiped clean using a damp sponge or cloth. We use non-toxic and authentic HP inks to print high definition and high-quality murals. From our end, our wallpapers can last 5-7 years or until you repaint the wall/surface.

Our wallpaper and mural strips/panels may come in either 40 inches/50 inches width.

There may be some variation between computer monitors and the final printed product. This is due to individual brightness and colour intensity settings, on the monitor/phone/ tablet. Colours may also look slightly different depending on the material they are printed on.
However, this is usually very minimal. If you want to be sure the product is what you expect, please order a sample beforehand.

As printers go through regular cleaning cycles, please note that there can be colour variances
between samples, material batches and the actual order you receive. Hence we suggest ordering all wallpaper panels required for the project at once!

You should always consult with your professional architect’s advice on this. It will depend on the type of paper you're wanting to use, whether your bathroom has proper ventilation, and how much the bathroom is used.

Generally, our wallpapers can be used in powder toilets or dry areas of bathrooms. We recommend using them above 48 inch high dado tiling and applying a waterproof coating. We suggest using Vinyl and caution against placing it in areas that may come into direct contact with water, like the shower, bath, or backsplash.

Ideally, our wallpapers are best suited for powder bathrooms with only a toilet and washbasin
where the humidity levels are significantly lower than one that has a shower or bath
